Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need any prior experience?

None at all. The course is designed for complete beginners. If you can hold a tension wrench, we can teach you the rest.

Is lockpicking legal in the UK?

Yes — possessing lock picks is legal in the UK. Using them without authorisation is not. We cover the legal framework in full on day three, including what you can and cannot do as a practitioner.

What will I be able to do after the course?

You'll be able to pick a range of common residential and commercial locks, assess basic security vulnerabilities, and use bypass techniques for non-destructive entry. Career changers will have the foundation needed to begin trading.

Is this a one-to-one course?

Yes — the course is delivered entirely one-to-one. It's just you and your instructor for all three days. That means the pace, the focus, and the content all adapt to you personally. No waiting for others, no being held back.

Do I keep the tools?

Yes — your professional pick set is yours to keep at the end of the course. We want you to keep practising after you leave.
